| The GIS boundary files in this system are from the National Historical GIS project at the Minnesota Population Center. In published work that uses the shape files, credit should be given to NHGIS (www.nhgis.org). Census data have been drawn from NGHIS, ICPSR, and the Bureau of the Census and the final variables were created and harmonized by the staff of the American Communities Project at Brown University. |
