From this page you can download spreadsheet data files on racial and ethnic diversity for all states, metropolitan areas, micropolitan areas, counties, and places. Each row of a data file contains a geographic unit’s identifiers and its total population, racial-ethnic group counts and percentages, and diversity index score in 1980, 1990, 2000, and 2010. Column headings provide descriptions of these variables.
