If you have received permission to access this survey dataset, you may proceed to download. Access is provided so that researchers can conduct preliminary analyses and identify research questions that are feasible to pursue with these data. Any use of the data for work that will become public in a conference presentation, article, or other form will require agreement by the Principal Investigator who led data collection in the city whose data will be used. The source of data should be formally acknowledged in any publication. The PI is entitled to be a co-author of papers or publications that result from these analyses. However in making decisions about co-authorship the participants in the Multi-City Study of Urban China agree also to take into account each person's intellectual interests in the topic and the potential problem of having too many co-authors on studies using data from several cities. Our goal is to facilitate use of these data for purposes beyond the plans of the original investigators as well as to stimulate new collaborative efforts.
